Leader Read: My name is: _______________________ and I am an alcoholic.
Welcome to the (day & time) ZOOM BUCK meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous.
This is an open meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous and all are welcome. We ask that you respect our traditions by remembering that what you hear here and who you see here, should stay here; and that you share in this meeting only if you identify as an alcoholic and/or have a desire to stop drinking and have at least 24 hours of sobriety.
Introduction: Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help others to achieve sobriety.
