SECRETARY ANNOUNCEMENT
- When you enter the meeting - MUTE yourself , only UNMUTE when called on.
- Please take a moment to find the “raise hand” feature on whatever device you are using – it may be on the participants’ section at the bottom of your screen or it may be on a section called “more.” It is also possible to see a list of participants in the meeting. The chat function will be used by our leaders to make announcements to the group as a whole.
- Please refrain from cross-talk.
- Please hide your video if you’re moving, driving or eating.
- If you are interested in being a host or secretary please talk to the host after the meeting

Secretary Guidelines
- Log in 15 minutes before a meeting
- Commitments will be for 1 month
- Secretaries must use a reliable computer, laptop, tablet or phone.
- Arrange for a leader before your meeting
- Leaders set up readers before meeting and encourage using the Big Book. Our readings are available on the home page on aabuck.com. Encourage our leaders to use the tools provided. Discourage screen sharing.
- New secretaries will be voted in at the meeting level.
- Secretaries come to the meeting fully clothed and sitting upright.
- Secretaries manage meetings as we do our in person meetings - We do our best to keep our meetings on topic. We share our “Experience, Strength and Hope '' There is a list of topics that accompany our leader information. If meetings start to go sideways, encourage our members/guests to stay on after the meeting, that there will be somebody to talk with when the meeting is over.
