SECRETARY ANNOUNCEMENT

• When you enter the meeting - please MUTE yourself, only UNMUTE when

called on.

• The chat function will be used by our leaders to make announcements to the

group as a whole.

• Please refrain from cross talk.

• Please keep your share to a reasonable length of time to allow others time to

share.

• If you are interested in being a host or secretary please talk to the host after

the meeting

• 7th tradition states “Every A.A. group ought to be self-supporting, declining

• The 7th tradition can be through PayPal, credit card or a check mailed

directly to our PO Box, which is listed on the main page.

Secretary Guidelines

 

Secretary Guidelines

  1. Log in 15 minutes before a meeting
  2. Commitments will be for 6 months 
  3. Secretaries must  use a reliable computer, laptop, tablet or phone.
  4. Arrange for a leader before your meeting 
  5. Leaders set up readers before meeting and encourage using the Big Book.  Our readings are available on the home page on aabuck.com. Encourage our leaders to use the tools provided.  Discourage screen sharing. 
  6. New secretaries will be voted in at the meeting level.  
  7. Secretaries come to the meeting fully clothed and sitting upright.
  8. Secretaries manage meetings as we do our in person meetings -  We do our best to keep our meetings on topic.   We share our “Experience, Strength and Hope '' There is a list of topics that accompany our leader information. If meetings start to go sideways, encourage our members/guests to stay on after the meeting, that  there will be somebody to talk with when the meeting is over.
